Victoria Watson
Victoria Watson is a lawyer, health policy leader, and public affairs professional with expertise at the intersection of law, public policy, innovation and democratic governance.
Victoria practises law in both private practice and the public sector, advising hospitals, not-for-profit organizations, private companies and regulated entities on privacy, health, digital governance and regulatory matters. Her career has also included roles with the Senate of Canada, Cancer Care Ontario, Gates Foundation, the Clinton Global Initiative, and international health policy organizations, where she contributed to legislative development, public policy, and health system reform.
Victoria holds a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she specialized in health and business law, a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Public Affairs from Concordia University.
Committed to public service and civic engagement, Victoria has served on numerous nonprofit and advisory boards and has worked extensively with parliamentarians, government officials, and civil society organizations on issues relating to health, innovation, governance, and evidence-informed policymaking. She is passionate about strengthening democratic institutions, fostering constructive public dialogue, and advancing policies that improve the lives of Canadians.
