Nova Scotian (8 generations, 2 pre-Confederation), Ontarian by choice since 1974, Called to the Bars of BC('74) and Upper Canada ('76), law practitioner, specializing in workplace law (collective bargaining/indefinite hire contracts/dependent and independent contractors/working conditions/plant closures, etc.) for private and public institutional employers across Canada but broadly focused on dispute resolution processes, ultimately managing on behalf of clients large IP and Products Liability litigation in the US; two appointments as Vice-Chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board for cumulatively 11 years.
