Parliamentary Democracy News and Information

The Parliamentary Democracy News and Information Service provides timely links to online articles in order to help citizens better understand the workings of Canada's democracy.  The articles are chosen because they feature expert opinion and analysis from constitutional experts, political scientists and other authorities rather than excessive partisan rhetoric.

"Thus we arrive, by our ancient constitutional methods, at practical working arrangements which show that Parliamentary democracy can adapt itself to all situations and can go out in all weathers."

 Prime Minister Winston Churchill
British H
ouse of Commons
8 September 1942
