on the Ontario referendum question. Our mandate was to provide
information and links to commentary to help voters make an informed
decision.

- The existing electoral system:
First-Past-the-Post (FPTP)
Total votes: 2,702,324
Percentage of votes 63.1%
Districts with 50% + 1 = 102
- The alternative electoral system
proposed by the Citizens’ Assembly:
Mixed Member Proportional (MMP)
Total votes: 1,577,245
Percentage of votes 36.9%
